Scouting in Derbyshire and Guiding in the Midlands

Scouting in Derbyshire

Scouting in Derbyshire is as active as it has ever been, providing opportunities for around 8600 youngsters to experience different activities.  Ranging from the Beaver section (aged 6-8) to the network section (aged 18-25), everyone is part of the Scouting family and is taking part in a varied and exciting programme.

For more information on Scouting in Derbyshire have a look at the Derbyshire Scout County Website

Guiding in the Midlands

here are over 68,000 members (girls and young women from five to twenty five) and nearly 9,000 leaders and adult supporters in eleven counties across the Midlands who take part in an exciting and relevant programme.

During their time with Girlguiding Midlands our members will have many opportunities to grow and develop, ready to take their place as confident, caring and active members of a wider community.

Girlguiding Midlands belongs to a movement which is continually changing and updating to cater for the modern needs of its members and today's lifestyle, whilst preserving the values that have made Girlguiding the largest movement for girls and young women in the U.K. With nearly 600,000 members, we must be doing something right! For more information on the individual sections please select from the menu above.

If you require information about how to join or guiding activities in your area please either contact the Region Office or see our useful links page, or phone national joiners number 0800 169 5901.
